Probably his first and only day of glory, so let's give him an applause: GALE KIRTON! He won today's race after manager mathie decided there would be no team strategy for today. "Just do what you want to do", he said. "Try to win, finish with a minimum effort or take a shower after 5 km, just do it your way!"
We decided to speak to manager mathie after this curious speech: "Well, in fact we didn't have a plan, because we didn't expect any result today. To be honest, we only rode in Hungary because Troy Hardee needed a race after a couple of training days. No preparation, no plan, no chance to win, but well... it's simply Gale Kirton's day. All credits to Gale!"
Gale Kirton had no time to speak to us. He was in a hurry to open a shop in Tucker's Town.

I talked to Gale yesterday. He owns a rent-a-bike shop in Nassau and doing well :-)
He simply quits at the top of his game. And I didn't fire him, I released him! :-)

And I guess Reid Lenard must be completely mad after his loss. 2nd behind a top renner is ok, but 2nd behind Gale Kirton... well...
On the other hand: a 2nd place is great too. ;-)
